The Natural Balance® Shoe (NBS) addresses the biomechanical needs of the equine foot for support and protection in a domestic environment. This shoe offers the horse stability and protection that promotes optimal performance with minimal stress. The patented NBS design*, along with a few suggested hoof preparation guidelines, will help to properly orient the shoe to the coffin bone as well as help prevent hoof capsule distortion. When the hoof preparation and shoe placement guidelines are followed, improved foot function and health is often achieved, and hoof distortions that are often associated with common lameness issues are eliminated.

Design Features
Like its Aluminum & Steel counterparts, the PolySteel NBS has all the same special features of breakover, protection & support. The uniqueness of the PSNBS comes from the fact that the special urethane material it is made of allows for an extremely durable, yet lightweight shoe for a variety of uses and disciplines. Endurance users are extremely happy with the wear they are seeing. Eventing horses are excited about the weight advantages. For horses that primarily live in a stall, this shoe gives a more natural support to the foot while in the stall, yet offers some protection when they are taken out on different terrains. With the PSNBS now in the mix, the NB product line is even better able to service the needs of the horse.

Bouble Bridge System

Patented Bridge System used for sizing adjustments and to provide the support and rigidity that is necessary for proper foot function.  Bridge Sizes Range from #1 - #6 and each size increases/decreases shoe WIDTH by 1/8" (0.125").  The "DEFAULT POSITION" is classified as the width of the shoe WITHOUT a BRIDGE installed, therefore, the bridge size listed in the Default Position does not require the shoe to be spread or closed for the bridge to fit.  SIZING EXAMPLE: If you want to increase the width of the shoe by 1/4" then you would spread the shoe and use a bridge that is 2 sizes larger than the Default Bridge.

SMALL = 4.25" wide x 4.50" long (#2 Bridge is Default Position)

MEDIUM = 5.00" wide x 5.25" long (#4 Bridge is Default Position)

LARGE = 5.62" wide x 6.00" long (#4 Bridge is Default Position)
